Our services
Backbones Work supplies embedded, project-based and on-demand architectural support to architecture practices. The exact scope, deliverables and fees for any engagement are defined in a separate written agreement, not by this website.
Enquiries aren't a commitment
Submitting a project brief through this site doesn't create a binding engagement. Work only begins once both parties have signed an agreement covering scope, timeline and pricing.
Acceptable use
Use the site and its contact form in good faith: no spam or automated bulk enquiries, no attempts to probe, disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the site or the infrastructure behind it, and no scraping of site content or portfolio material.
Bone, the site assistant
Bone is an automated assistant that answers general questions using information published on this site. Its replies are provided for convenience only, they aren't professional, architectural, legal or pricing advice, and they don't bind Backbones Work. For anything decision-critical, confirm with the team directly.

Third-party services
The site runs on third-party infrastructure, including Supabase for secure data storage and Resend for email delivery, and we may add further services as the platform evolves. We choose providers with appropriate security and GDPR commitments, see our Privacy Policy for how they handle your data, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted availability of the site or of features that depend on them.
Liability
This site is provided as-is. We aren't liable for decisions made solely on information published here, without a signed engagement covering the specifics of your project.
